Austin was buzzing this year, and we were right in the middle of the action. We partnered with SHOKZ to fabricate and build a custom 20′ x 20′ trade show booth for SXSW 2026 and SXSW EDU. Our team worked closely with the client to finalize the technical details and bring this high-impact vision to life. The goal was to construct a space that felt open, energetic, and impossible to miss. Consequently, the build moved away from traditional solid roofs and looked toward the sky.
A Clear Vision for Brand Activation
The standout feature of this SHOKZ SXSW 2026 brand activation was the clear acrylic ceiling. This transparent topper allowed attendees to look up and see a massive inflatable display of SHOKZ earphones towering over the footprint. Because of this unique engineering choice, the booth felt twice as large while staying within its 400-square-foot limits.
Bringing the Concept to Life
Inside the booth, the construction focused on a “Clip, Play, Go” theme. We installed a vibrant, illuminated SEG backwall that served as the perfect backdrop for photos. Furthermore, we built sleek product display cabinets in the center to encourage hands-on demos.
To keep the energy high, the build also included:
- A Custom Game Zone: A dedicated structural space for fans to interact with the brand.
- Local Austin Flavor: We integrated a local ice cream vendor in the front corner to help attendees beat the Texas heat.
- Open-Air Layout: The booth’s perimeter remained accessible, which naturally drew in the foot traffic from the busy Austin streets.
Why This Build Worked
Ultimately, successful experiential marketing is about high-quality execution. By blending technical fabrication with fun, local elements like ice cream and gaming, we helped SHOKZ stand out in a crowded field of exhibitors.
