Graphic File Guidelines

Acceptable File Formats

  • Illustrator CC or below (.ai, .eps, or .pdf)
  • Photoshop CC or below (.tif, .psd, .psb, .eps, or high res .jpg)

File Setup:

  • For best results, set up artwork using the templates provided.
  • Files should be set up to full size or scaled proportionately.
  • Fonts should be outlined or supplied with artwork.
  • Link images, and supply them if used in artfiles.
  • Unflattened artwork is best, this allows easier access for any sizing, design, or color adjustments.
  • Decals / Stickers – confirm cutline is included in artfile before sending.
  • 3D Logos & Decals: Must be in vector format, however, we can recreate for an additional cost.

Bleeds:

  • Submitted art should have a minimum of 3 inches / 80 mm of bleed on all sides.
  • Avoid putting important content close to the edges of the art space.

Resolution:

  • The final output for print is 100 dpi at full size. If files are at half scale then 200 dpi would be recommended.
  • Note: View as actual size in Adobe Illustrator to preview print resolution.

Color:

  • Files are best set up in CMYK.
  • If Pantone (PMS) colors are required to be color-matched, please build them into the art files. Specify the PMS colors.
  • PMS color matches are for guidance and will be matched as closely as possible.
